Alexey Titarenko

Alexey Titarenko was born in 1962 in St. Petersburg. He draws his inspiration from music and literature, but above all from his native city, delightfully depicting it in many series: "City of Shadows" (1992-1994), "Black and White Magic of St. Petersburg" (1995-1997), "Frozen time" (1998-2000).
By resorting to a relatively long exposure, the photographer invites us to enter another dimension, the dimension of suspended time.
Few places inspired him with the same force as this city, so dear to him.
